As an academic I teach two kinds of courses at the Universidad Diego Portales. The first ones are as part of the PhD programme in Astrophysics and belong to the Stellar Area in the programme. I teach stellar spectroscopy, Stellar Structure and Evolution, Galactic astronomy as well as Topics of Astrophysics. The second one is at undergraduate level. Since there is no undergraduate physics or astronomy program at my university, the courses are directed towards all students in the form of a General Formation course. These are basic general astronomy courses designed for all careers, to open up their minds and wonder about the Universe. My course is called "Estrellas de la Via Lactea" and the content I teach became the first draft of my public book "Fosiles del cosmos". Outstanding students are invited to take a special trilogy of General Formation courses in astronomy, called "Diploma de Honor en Astronomía". In this trilogy I teach the course about stars.
