As a strong believer that a better future depends on a more educated society that is able to critically think about modern problems, together with the Millennium Nucleus ERIS and in collaboration with Sense Contents we have designed an educational program called Gen Universal. This initiative helps children to develop critical thinking and implement the scientific method in their daily lives. These children come from a variety of schools located in different regions of the country, and so we travel to them and collaborate with their teachers. I have also written a public astronomy book entitled Fosiles del cosmos, which explains in detail the stars observed by the space mission Gaia, and how we use them to study the Milky Way. That book further highlights a variety of women working in the field, with the intention to visualize the female contribution in STEM today. I was selected to represent one of the 10 Chilean authors in the International book fair in Guadalajara in Mexico in 2023.
